Before visiting Folegandros, spend a night or more in Athens. Athens is the capital of Greece and one of the oldest cities in the world. A plethora of ancient monuments, museums and various attractions are waiting to be discovered. A luxurious private car and an English speaking driver/guide will take you on a half day tour in Athens. You will be able to see Syntagma Square, the Parliament, the Presidential palace, the temple of the Olympian Zeus and the Kallimarmaron Stadium, where the first 1896 Olympic Games were held. The tour will end with a visit to the Acropolis and the new Acropolis Museum. Before departing for Folegandros, you will get the chance to enjoy a traditional meal in one of the famous taverns in Plaka.
